CollabraCam offers live multicam video production capabilities over Wi-Fi or HotSpot. It allows users to direct and edit live video streaming from up to six cameras on an iPad or four cameras on an iPhone. Users can cue action, direct camera operations, and immediately assemble a Director's Cut after filming. CollabraCam streamlines the process by offering easy sharing options or the ability to transfer projects to iMovie or other post-production tools for further enhancements.

For more advanced post-production tasks, CollabraCam allows the transfer of the Edit Decision List (EDL), video, and audio files to a Mac for seamless integration with Adobe Premiere Pro CC. This feature provides a smooth transition for users looking to refine their projects in a professional editing environment.

CollabraCam also supports HotSpot usage, although connectivity recommendations are in place to ensure a stable connection. By utilizing HotSpot, users can expand the mobility of CollabraCam, maintaining camera control within the director's proximity while utilizing additional networking options.
